Privacy notice for farmers

What we collect

• Name, phone number, gender, state, local government area and community.
• Bank Verification Number (BVN) and National Identification Number (NIN).
• A passport photograph.
• GPS coordinates of your farm and, optionally, its boundary; crops grown and farm size.

Why we collect it

To confirm your identity, to plan and deliver inputs, training and storage, to issue your farmer ID, and to show buyers, in aggregate, where produce comes from. Your legal basis for this processing is your consent, which you give when you submit the registration form.

How it is protected

• BVN and NIN are encrypted at rest and masked on screen; revealing one is restricted and logged.
• Passport photographs are kept outside the public website and are shown only to signed-in staff.
• Access is limited to authorised staff and every sensitive action is recorded.

Who sees it

Authorised AgriBridge staff. We do not sell your data. We may share verified identity details with banks, insurers or government programs only where you have asked us to or the law requires it.

Your rights

Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act you may ask to see, correct or delete your data, or withdraw your consent. Contact us quoting your farmer reference.
